Sue Jago has worked in the field of design for over 20 years. Her passion is creating design solutions that are both effective and efficient while delivering pleasing images and spaces that people can enjoy.

Having worked with corporate companies across a number of industries, Sue has a wealth of knowledge and experience.  Some of her clients have been with her the whole 20 years, most become long term, because above all else, Sue delivers.  Building relationships that last, based on mutual trust and honesty has been the key to her success.

Sue has a vision that through good design and a great design team, anyone can achieve an environment that is pleasing to work, play, dine or just be in.

Interior Designer Joanne Verlander

Joanne is the latest addition to the Split Watermelon team having relocated to Sydney from Edinburgh, Scotland. She brings with her a strong technical grounding and a diverse range of skills gained from working within the European retail design sector. A detailed thinker, Joanne’s designs are sensitively considered. She is inspired by colour and how it affects people’s relationship with interior spaces.

Amy Tahere

Amy brings a dynamic approach to the Split Watermelon team which is drawn from her background in both Architecture and Interior Design. Her keen eye for detail and appreciation for craftsmanship is derived from first hand experience in carpentry and her vibrant personality is reflected in her love of colour and textiles. Amy’s passion for creating strong design concepts unique to each individual project is predominately based on the site, the function of the space and cultural values. Amy’s inspiration comes from her travels throughout Europe, Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands and all forms of design including Interiors, Landscape Architecture, Architecture and Fashion.
